Since 1984, Hahn's Woodworking Company, Inc. has been manufacturing the highest quality carriage house barn doors and stile & rail doors (with electric motorized overhead operation) as well as traditional swing-out or sliding doors.

Since that time, other companies have tried to emulate our high quality product, but Hahn's remains the original and the best.

All Hahn's doors are custom doors.  While the model numbers refer to the design characteristics of a door (number of lites, vertical or horizontal panels, etc.), we modify the proportions of the design to work aesthetically with the size requirements of the door. Nothing is pre-built and ready-to-ship.

Besides quality garage doors, we fabricate custom entry doors to match: door only or pre-hung and weather-sealed.

Our doors feature cabinet-grade joinery and true divided-lite windows available with restoration glass, insulated glass, or to spec.

We pride ourselves in the ability to fabricate radius top sections to match existing arched openings.

Our designs are aesthetically correct, because they are based on traditional American architecture.

Our doors are engineered to shed water effectively.

Our doors are constructed of clear, kiln-dried Cypress, a tannin based hardwood.

Our hardwood basecoat process is unique to us. While other wood door producers build their doors complete and then apply the sealer or primer, we apply the basecoat during the manufacturing process. We seal all six sides of the T&G before it is assembled into the doors' field area, and seal the raw wood at the windows before the glass is installed.

We use the heaviest hardware for smooth, dependable overhead operation.
